A nice low mileage example of Ford's famous mid seventies hardtop. Owner Cameron had noticed the body corrosion worsening over time. Being a matching numbers V8 GS in a reasonably rare colour, the decision was made to chase out the rust, add new seat belts as well as tackle any mechanical issues along the way.
As the project progressed, Cameron decided to add option 52 wheels. We sourced a set of five for him, hitting the jackpot with date codes pretty close to the build date of the vehicle.
Discussions and indecisions as to whether to warm the engine and powertrain over gave way to the sensible and correct direction we took, leaving it all stock standard. As always, the final test drive prior to hand over of the vehicle made it difficult to actually hand the vehicle back to the client.
